- My ISP has changed to AT&T Paradyne 3811 modems. Now is almost imposible
- for me to stay online for more than 15-20 min. I have used Motorola
- Codex 3255fast, GDC 28.8 and even a USR Sportster to try to find out what
- the problem is.
- By now, the only thing I know is that the problem occurs only when using
- V.34 modulation with data compression and/or error correction enable. If
- I disable those features, the modem performance decreases, but I can stay
- on-line just like before.
- Does anyone have similar trobles?
- Does anyone have any tips that may help me?
- Is this a bug in modem's firmware?
-
- Thanks,
-
